ISO-Turn – Single sided 90° positive square turning insert with 4 cutting edges and a 7° clearance angle – A pressed insert with a positive flank inserts for semi-finishing and finish turning. Chip breaking in moderate feed range. Positive rake, low cutting forces. Used for a wide range of materials, including soft and exotic alloys. Grade IC9150 (CVD TiCN+Al203+TiN coating) – A hard substrate with a cobalt enriched layer, CVD coated. Excellent thermal stability and resistance to chipping and plastic deformation. Recommended for high speed machining of steel at stable conditions.
